She selected a residence named “Holiday House.”
In 2013, Taylor Swift purchased an 11,000-square-foot mansion in Rhode Island for a staggering $17.75 million, reportedly paying in cash.
The property, known as High Watch or Holiday House, sits on the highest point in Watch Hill and features over 700 feet of private beachfront.
This home, with eight fireplaces and 10 bathrooms, is situated on 5.23 acres and includes a large back patio with a spacious pool.
Prior to Swift owning the grand mansion, it was famously owned by oil heiress Rebekah Harkness for more than 30 years.
While Swift never met the socialite, Harkness inspired the singer-songwriter, who wrote “The Last Great American Dynasty” about her extravagant lifestyle.
Swift seemed to draw inspiration from Harkness, who was known for throwing Gatsby-like parties, and continued the tradition by making the hilltop home the center of her Fourth of July celebrations.
While the private pop star, 34, hasn’t shared many images of the vacation property herself, several of her celebrity friends have provided glimpses inside the home while sharing photos from the lavish bash — known as Taymerica — on their social media platforms over the years.
In 2015, some of her famous pals — including Gigi Hadid, Joe Jonas, and Martha Hunt — posted pictures from the festive weekend on their Instagram accounts.
Hadid shared a photo of herself playing volleyball in Swift’s backyard and another image of the three friends posing on a spiral staircase.
The trio, dressed in matching red-white-and-blue onesies, appeared happy as they relaxed against the white rod iron railing.
Martha also posted several photos of the exterior of the home, showcasing the tiled patio with white lounge chairs and the pool area, complete with inflatable toys and a slide.
Jonas shared a picture of himself and brother Nick Jonas enjoying Swift’s bar.
The area had a vintage vibe, with a built-in cabinet adorned with various knick-knacks — including a large “T” sign — and several bottles of different alcohols.
Several other friends of the superstar have also posted photos from inside the home’s white kitchen.
The kitchen features white cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, and a gray marble countertop.
Swift also appears to have a music studio in the home, which likely gets used during entertaining.

Meanwhile, the living space has high ceilings and seems to be decorated in neutral tones, with white furniture, tan walls, oak hardwood floors, and white crown molding.
Some walls are adorned with vintage sconces, emitting a dim, yellow light into the romantic space.
Although the “Anti-Hero” singer took a break from hosting the star-studded party for a few years, she held a smaller gathering this past Fourth of July with BFFs Selena Gomez and the Haim sisters.
Swift shared some snapshots from the low-key party online, showcasing the kitchen and her choices in art for the home.
Instead of extravagant paintings, Swift opted for black-and-white photos of her friends and family, lining one of her hallway walls.
Despite owning such a luxurious hideaway, Swift typically resides at her $50 million New York City compound, leaving the Rhode Island House available for her friends to enjoy.
In fact, the 14-time Grammy winner reportedly offered her saltbox house on the coast to Hadid and Bradley Cooper during the early stages of their romance last year.
However, the expensive pad is just one part of Swift’s over $80 million real estate portfolio.
