A devastating fire at Wang Fuk Court in Hong Kong has resulted in 128 fatalities, with around 200 residents still unaccounted for. The blaze, which broke out on November 26, spread rapidly, possibly due to the styrofoam exterior of the high-rise buildings. Emergency services faced significant challenges, including malfunctioning fire alarms, and twelve firefighters were injured during rescue efforts. This incident marks Hong Kong’s deadliest fire since 1948.
