Four children from Gaza, seriously injured by bombs and missile strikes, arrived in Chicago for medical treatment through the efforts of a local nonprofit. Among them was 15-year-old Yazan, who lost both legs in a missile strike. They will receive treatment in the Midwest, as healthcare in Gaza has been severely impacted by the conflict. Host families have volunteered to support the children during their recovery, with plans to bring more children from Gaza for treatment in the future.
