Over 200,000 Amazon Power Banks Recalled for Fire Risks
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Approximately 210,000 INIU 100,000mAh portable lithium-ion power banks, model BI-B41, sold on Amazon from August 2021 to April 2022, have been recalled due to fire and burn hazards. These power banks, identifiable by their black or blue casing and paw-print LED light, can overheat, leading to incidents of fires and minor injuries. Consumers are advised to stop using the affected units, check their serial numbers for eligibility, and seek a full refund via INIU’s website. Proper disposal methods for recalled lithium-ion products should be followed as advised by the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
