Initiative wins Volvo’s global media account, China remains separate | News

Volvo has chosen Initiative to handle its global media planning and buying account, with the review managed by MediaSense covering key markets like the US, UK, and China. Initiative, backed by IPG Mediabrands, will manage media planning and buying in all Volvo markets except China. The decision comes after Volvo’s global net media spend of $448.7 million in 2023 and the incumbent on the account, Mindshare, was shortlisted during the review process alongside Publicis Groupe and IPG Mediabrands.
