Police in Indonesia arrested 12 individuals involved in a human trafficking ring that sent over a dozen infants to Singapore for adoption, following a report of a baby kidnapping. The syndicate, active since 2023, allegedly obtained babies from parents in West Java, with some infants aged as young as three months, and sold them for up to 16 million Indonesian Rupiah ($983) each.
