An Indiana couple, Melody Rose Greenwood, 38, and Adam Jon Greenwood, 36, are accused of neglecting their 10-year-old son by restraining him with zip ties, covering his head with a towel, and instructing his siblings to beat him up. The child was found to be extremely skinny and only fed canned food while the rest of the family had normal meals. The parents also limited homeschooling to reading three chapters of a book per day, leading to preliminary charges of neglect of a dependent for Melody and Adam Greenwood.
