T20 World Cup: India vs Pakistan match details

India and Pakistan are set to face off in the ICC 2026 T20 World Cup at R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, Sri Lanka on Sunday, February 15 at 7pm (13:30 GMT). After Pakistan initially boycotted the match in solidarity with Bangladesh, who had been expelled from the tournament for refusing to play in India, last-minute talks allowed the game to proceed. The match will feature Pakistan’s Usman Tariq, whose unique bowling action has sparked controversy but has been deemed legal by the ICC. Tariq credits his inspiration to India’s M.S. Dhoni biopic, which reignited his cricket ambitions and propelled him onto the international stage as one of Pakistan’s key players.
