Independent Film Tax Credit Formally Passed Into Law

The UK government has officially passed the Independent Film Tax Credit into law, with relief available for qualifying films from October 30. UK Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy announced the credit during the BFI’s London Film Festival, offering a 53% relief on qualifying expenditure for first-time productions with budgets up to £15 million.
