Teen who fatally stabbed schoolboy at Dunedin bus hub appeals sentence

The 14-year-old boy, who has permanent name suppression, is appealing his conviction and sentence for the manslaughter of Dunedin schoolboy Enere McLaren-Taana, for which he was sentenced to three years and three months in prison. The Court of Appeal confirmed that a notice of appeal was filed on July 31, following his acquittal on a murder charge after a week-long trial.
