Sir Ian McKellen, who was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II in 1991 and later received the Companion of Honour medal, shared a rather candid take on the late monarch in a recent interview. He expressed his belief that the Queen was “quite mad at the end” based on his limited interactions with her. Despite their meetings, Sir Ian’s opinion of the Queen appears to be less than favorable.
