Pro-Palestine activist attempts suicide in UK prison

Charlotte Head, a former charity worker and activist, was released on bail after serving 18 months in prison without a conviction. She was part of the “Filton 24,” pro-Palestine activists accused of a raid on Elbit Systems UK, which has been labeled a terrorist organization. Following her release, Head recounted the isolation and depression she experienced in jail, including a suicide attempt. Recently, the High Court ruled the ban on Palestine Action unlawful, leading to the acquittal of the “Filton 24” defendants.
