A prominent hospital emergency consultant has revealed his nearly four-day ordeal after ending up as a patient on a trolley, waiting for a bed.

Dr Mick Molloy, an emergency consultant in Wexford Hospital, even had an out-of-control patient fall on top of him during his time in hospital.
