Hyundai Motor North America is suspending sales and recalling over 68,000 2026 Palisade models due to a safety issue with second and third-row power seats that may not detect objects or people. This action follows a tragic incident involving a 2-year-old girl who died in Ohio. The recall will include 60,515 vehicles from the U.S. and 7,967 from Canada, with repairs at no cost to owners. Hyundai is also developing an over-the-air software update expected by the end of March.
