A pair of shoplifters, aged 37 and 28, have been arrested in Auckland for stealing over $250,000 worth of goods from stores, shortly after the launch of a new police team focused on retail crime. The man faces five counts of shoplifting and is scheduled to appear in court on July 29, while the woman is charged with nine counts of shoplifting and burglary, set for court on July 30.
