New Zealanders funding livestreamed international child exploitation

Kiwis are implicated in a disturbing trend of procuring bespoke livestreamed child sexual abuse, facilitated through an offshore “receiver” who performs the acts on children located far away. This form of abuse, primarily directed via common video chat platforms, is driven by abusers mainly in Western countries. The International Justice Mission has identified New Zealand as a significant demand-side country for this rapidly growing and often overlooked global issue.
