President Joe Biden is set to deliver his third State of the Union address to Congress tonight. The speech comes shortly after Super Tuesday and months ahead of the upcoming presidential election. Biden is expected to touch on various topics such as the economy, war, women’s reproductive rights, and his policy plans.

In this crucial election year, where the president is campaigning for reelection, you can catch multiple news outlets and cable networks covering the event. However, you don’t need a TV package to watch. Here’s how you can stream the State of the Union, whether you prefer to watch for free or through a subscription streaming service.

Biden’s State of the Union will air live on Thursday, March 7 at 9 p.m. ET (6 p.m. PT). Following the president’s address, Sen. Katie Britt of Alabama will deliver the Republican rebuttal.

You can watch the speech for free on the White House website through a YouTube livestream, or choose to stream coverage on YouTube channels of major news organizations like CBS, ABC, NBC, C-SPAN, and Fox News. While the White House channel will only stream the speech itself, news broadcasters will provide commentary before and after the address.

Apart from YouTube, you can access coverage on various news stations:CBS coverage is available on Paramount Plus, CBSNews.com, the CBS News app, and CBS social media platforms.NBC provides free access to its website and NBC News Now for live coverage, with special coverage by NBC Nightly News anchor Lester Holt and Today co-anchor Savannah Guthrie starting at 9 p.m. ABC viewers can watch on abcnewslive.com or Hulu.

For cord-cutters, you can also watch the event on an on-demand service or live TV streaming platform like YouTube TV or Hulu with Live TV. However, not every service carries all networks, so make sure to check with your provider for channel availability.

Peacock offers live NBC News channels with its basic Premium plan at $6 per month, or you can opt for Peacock Premium Plus for $12 per month. Sling TV’s Blue subscription includes access to Fox News, CNN, and MSNBC for $40 monthly, with new subscribers eligible for a half-price first month. YouTube TV includes ABC, CBS, PBS, Fox, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, and CNBC for $73 per month, with a two-week free trial for new users.
