How to see the classic steam engine – NBC Chicago

Union Pacific Big Boy No. 4014 embarked on its “Heartland of America” tour, allowing people in 10 states to witness the classic steam engine in person. The tour began in Wyoming, then traveled to Nebraska and Iowa over Labor Day weekend, with the train making its first of four stops in Illinois on September 6 in Sterling from 1:30 to 1:45 p.m.
