Research by the European Commission found that rising prices and living costs were the primary driving factors for 56% of Irish voters, compared to the EU average of 42%. Housing was the second biggest motivator for Irish voters at 44%, while migration came third at 39%. Despite this, Irish citizens showed strong support for the EU, with 71% seeing a positive impact and 84% having a favorable outlook on the future of the union.
