Helicopter tackling forest fire crashes into lake while scooping water

A Morane 29 water bomber helicopter crashed into Rosporden Lake while refilling during firefighting efforts in France, after its tail hit the water, causing it to spin out of control. Fortunately, the pilot and firefighter on board escaped unharmed, and an investigation has been initiated to determine the crash’s cause amidst a summer of severe wildfires across Europe.
