The Peter McVerry Trust has requested full funding from the State for its homeless services, despite receiving a €15 million Government bailout. A report by the Comptroller & Auditor General revealed that an interim chief of the charity was paid €1,000 per day from the Department of Housing budget until a permanent chief executive was appointed in April. Alaska plane crash updates: Two victims named as crews rush to recover remains of the 10 killed
A Bering Air plane carrying 10 people went missing in rural Alaska during a winter storm, and was later found with three bodies, with no survivors. Two victims, Rhone Baumgartner and Kameron Hartvigson, were identified as employees of the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium.
