Staff at The Quay Hotel and Spa in Conwy, Wales, were surprised by a young seal pup that found a resting spot in their parking lot after Storm Goretti. They promptly reported the sighting to the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR), who assessed the pup’s health and transported it to a specialist facility for care. The hotel later confirmed the seal is doing well and has returned to its natural habitat. This incident follows a previous rescue of another seal pup trapped among rocks in Whitley Bay.
