Longer wait times at emergency departments of TTSH, CGH and SKH due to high number of patients

SINGAPORE: Three public hospitals—Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH), Changi General Hospital (CGH), and Sengkang General Hospital (SKH)—are experiencing longer waiting times in their emergency departments due to an influx of patients. TTSH advised patients that admission may take hours, while both SKH and CGH urged individuals with non-urgent conditions to seek treatment at GP clinics. This surge coincides with a rise in COVID-19 cases, which the Ministry of Health is monitoring, indicating that hospitals can currently manage the increased patient load.
