Vida, the grey Household Cavalry horse, returned to military duty after five months of care following a chaotic incident in central London where she and four other service horses ran through the city, causing damage and chaos. Vida was covered in blood while running through the capital, and along with another horse named Quaker, she traveled over five miles from their starting point in Belgravia. Despite missing the Trooping the Colour ceremony, Vida has now recovered physically and emotionally and is back with The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment after spending time in Buckinghamshire.
