A Parliamentary Standing Committee on Defence, led by Member of Lok Sabha Radha Mohan Singh, visited the Southern Air Command and were briefed on its role in the maritime domain of southern India. The committee interacted with officers and learned about the Indian Air Force’s transformation into a multi-spectrum force with trans-oceanic reach. Chairperson Singh commended the Southern Air Command for safeguarding the skies and the IAF’s crucial role in maritime and humanitarian operations.
