Irish jockey Michael O’Sullivan, 25, is in intensive care at Cork University Hospital after a fall at Thurles while riding Wee Charlie for Gerard O’Leary. O’Sullivan, a two-time winner at the 2023 Cheltenham Festival, was treated on the track before being airlifted to the hospital, where he is receiving the best medical care.
