Antonio R. Moore, 40, has been charged with the murder of 65-year-old Rita B. Loncharich, whom he allegedly stabbed in the back with a pocketknife at a Palm Beach Gardens Barnes & Noble on December 22. Authorities revealed that Moore, who is not a Florida resident and is reportedly homeless, traveled through several states before arriving in Florida. He claimed he acted on a “fight or flight” impulse, with no prior interaction with Loncharich. Moore is currently being held without bond on a charge of first-degree premeditated murder.
