Joe Dante’s anticipated film project, Little Shop of Halloween Horrors, a darker reimagining of the cult classic Little Shop of Horrors, has stalled, according to Dante, who noted that “nothing’s happening” in Hollywood currently. The project, initially announced last year, aimed to launch a franchise and featured a script by longtime collaborator Charles S. Haas, with Roger Corman as a producer before his passing in May 2024. Despite the intriguing concept, the film joins numerous projects caught in limbo amid the industry’s struggles.
