Himachal hasn’t received disaster relief funds due to Centre’s step-motherly treatment: CM Sukhu | Chandigarh News

The Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu criticized the Union government for not providing funds for disaster relief following last year’s devastating monsoon, claiming biased treatment towards opposition-ruled states. He highlighted the state’s need for financial assistance and the lack of support received, including the state’s share in the National Pension Scheme. Sukhu also emphasized the importance of HIV-AIDS awareness, with nearly 6 lakh people tested in the last two years, and launched an initiative to equip taxis with bins to reduce car waste and maintain clean roads.
