Liverpool is reportedly preparing for the potential departure of Andy Robertson by identifying a suitable replacement. As Robertson approaches the end of his tenure with the club, his exit could signify a broader transition for Liverpool, especially with other key players like Mohamed Salah also potentially leaving. Despite the emotional significance of Robertson’s contributions during the club’s recent successes, Liverpool’s actions in January indicated a willingness to discuss his future, suggesting a planned evolution in the squad. David Raum, the captain of RB Leipzig, has emerged as a strong candidate to fill Robertson’s role, given his leadership qualities, vocal presence on the pitch, and ability to create scoring opportunities. With only one year remaining on Raum’s contract, he may be attainable for a reasonable fee.
