Trump addresses Iran’s claim about US-armed protesters

United States President Donald Trump claimed that the U.S. armed Iranian opposition groups during recent mass protests against the government, which resulted in thousands of deaths due to crackdowns. In a Fox News interview, he stated that the U.S. had sent weapons to protesters, particularly the Kurds, while also mentioning strikes on Iran in late February. The Iranian government accused the U.S. and Israel of instigating the unrest, asserting that foreign involvement exacerbated the situation, as protests led to significant casualties and arrests.
