Harvey Park District director to fill Cook County Board vacancy

Kisha McCaskill, executive director of the Harvey Park District, was chosen to replace Monica Gordon as 5th District Cook County Board member. McCaskill was selected by Democratic party leaders after Gordon became Cook County clerk. McCaskill, who has been in her current role since 2015, will serve the unexpired term of Gordon and face election for a full term in 2026.
