Hamas provides details on Gaza captive’s remains to Israel and mediators.

Israeli forces are searching a Gaza cemetery for the remains of Ran Gvili, the last captive in the Palestinian territory, as Hamas has handed over the location of his remains in accordance with the ceasefire agreement. The Israeli military is conducting a largescale operation to retrieve Gvili’s body from the northern Gaza cemetery, while US special envoy Steve Witkoff announced the ceasefire moving to its second stage, which includes the opening of the Rafah border crossing and the disarmament of Hamas. Despite ongoing Israeli attacks across Gaza, including the killing of at least three Palestinians and the wounding of four others in Gaza City, efforts to find the last captive are still ongoing.
