Guardians RHP Tanner Bibee signs five-year deal plus club option

The Cleveland Guardians signed pitcher Tanner Bibee to a five-year deal with a club option for 2030, valued at a minimum of $48 million. Bibee, 26, will earn $21 million in 2029 and the same in 2030 with a $1 million buyout. He is set to make his first Opening Day start this season, boasting a 22-12 record and a 3.25 ERA in the majors, finishing as the AL Rookie of the Year runner-up in 2023.
