Greer Fire in Arizona
A wildfire known as the Greer Fire in eastern Arizona has scorched over 6,400 acres and is currently 0% contained. The fire, fueled by high winds and dry vegetation, has prompted evacuations in the area, with Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs expressing concern for affected residents and gratitude for firefighting efforts. Over 200 personnel are battling the blaze, which has led to road closures, including Highway 260, and is moving north toward state trust lands.
