Grandson pays homage to late hero, Mr Scholar Patrol

Siyabonga Mavimbela honors his late grandfather, Reverend David Masilela, known as ‘Mr Scholar Patrol,’ for his community contributions and values. Masilela’s love for people and children, as well as the teachings he passed on, deeply impacted Mavimbela. Raised in Payneville, Masilela’s legacy lives on through his grandson’s desire to pay homage to the local hero.
