New York City police arrested six individuals during protests outside Gracie Mansion, the mayor’s residence, where suspicious devices were ignited. An anti-Islam protest organized by far-right influencer Jake Lang attracted about 20 participants, while a counter-protest drew approximately 125. Tensions escalated with the use of pepper spray and incendiary devices, prompting the NYPD Bomb Squad to investigate the suspicious items, which may be hoax devices. The investigation is ongoing, and there is no indication the events are linked to the war with Iran.
