Google unveils $3B investment to tap AI demand in Malaysia and Thailand

Google has announced plans to invest $3 billion in Malaysia and Thailand to meet the growing demand for cloud and AI technology. $2 billion will go towards building Google’s first data center and cloud region in Malaysia at Sime Darby Property’s Elmina Business Park in Selangor. Construction has already started on the site.
