Google Releases Android Update to Patch Two Actively Exploited Vulnerabilities

Google has released patches for 62 vulnerabilities, including two high-severity flaws that have been exploited in the wild. The CVE-2024-53150 vulnerability, with a CVSS score of 7.8, is an out-of-bounds flaw in the USB sub-component of Kernel that could lead to information disclosure. The CVE-2024-53197 vulnerability, also scoring 7.8, is a privilege escalation flaw in the USB sub-component of Kernel.
