Mary Earps, the 32-year-old England women’s goalkeeper, announced her retirement from international football just weeks before Euro 2025, where England will face France on July 5. Earps, who has 53 caps and played a crucial role in England’s Euro 2022 victory and World Cup final appearance, cited personal reasons for her decision, stating it was the right moment to step aside despite facing competition from Chelsea’s Hannah Hampton. She joined Paris Saint-Germain from Manchester United last season.
