Google is testing a feature allowing users to change their @gmail.com address for the first time, as indicated by a support document available only in Hindi, hinting at an initial rollout in India. This feature enables users to adopt a new Gmail address while maintaining access to their old one, with both addresses funneling into the same inbox and preserving existing data in Drive and Photos. However, users who switch will be unable to register another new address for 12 months. Google has yet to officially announce this feature.
