The Kinloch Wilderness Retreat in Glenorchy is experiencing a washout on an access road due to river overflow, blaming Queenstown authorities for not addressing erosion risks. A video on the lodge’s Facebook page shows an SUV being swept away by the Dart River, prompting the owners to reach out to the council for weeks prior to the incident. Despite the challenges, the retreat hosted members of the Green Party caucus over the weekend.
