A significant 78% of professionals reported that news events drain their energy at work, while mentions of “stagflation” rose threefold amid frustrations over stagnant wages. Discussions about AI’s impact on jobs surged, with mentions of “agentic” increasing by over 2,200%. Political topics also became more prevalent in the workplace, with “inauguration” mentions up 875% compared to 2024.
