Gisèle Pelicot's ex-husband won't appeal prison sentence for orchestrating mass rapes

Dominique Pelicot, the ex-husband of Gisèle Pelicot, will not appeal his 20-year prison sentence for drugging and raping her, as well as allowing other men to also rape her while unconscious. His decision aims to spare his ex-wife from further trauma. Of the 50 men convicted in the case, 17 have chosen to appeal their sentences, which ranged from three to 15 years in prison for charges including rape, attempted rape, and sexual assault on Gisèle Pelicot over a nearly decade-long period.
