A Georgia woman, 46-year-old Ashley Wasielewski, has been hospitalized with severe burns after a stranger poured a corrosive chemical on her while she was walking in Forsyth Park, Savannah. The attack occurred just after she attended a nearby Christmas program, leaving her with second- and third-degree burns covering half her body. Savannah police are actively searching for a suspect and investigating the chemical used, which was so corrosive it melted her car key fob. The incident has prompted increased police patrols in local parks, with officials urging the public to come forward with information.
