SINGAPORE: Singapore Democratic Party (SDP) chief Chee Soon Juan highlighted a “mental health crisis” during a rally, attributing issues to cost of living and cramped living conditions. He proposed a mental health wellness center for youth, urging Health Minister Ong Ye Kung to address root causes of mental distress. SDP candidates also criticized rising living costs, advocating for the removal of GST on essentials and emphasizing the need for a vocal representative in parliament.
