GE2025: Wildlife control, challenges for seniors among Pulau Ubin residents' concerns shared with PAP team on walkabout

A team from the ruling People’s Action Party (PAP) visited Pulau Ubin to address wildlife issues and seniors’ difficulties in accessing digital support vouchers. Unique challenges faced by residents included wild monkeys stealing fruit and limited electricity generation capabilities, with hopes for new developments to attract visitors back to the island. The visit comes as Pulau Ubin was redrawn into the boundaries of the new Pasir Ris-Changi Group Representation Constituency (GRC) in the latest electoral map review.
