SINGAPORE: The Elections Department Singapore reported that overseas votes in the recent General Election mirrored local voting patterns, with 17,237 registered overseas voters. Of these, 5,966 voted in-person and 6,097 postal ballots were accepted. The total votes cast in GE2025 reached 2,438,610, with the People’s Action Party achieving significant wins, while the Workers’ Party retained its seats, reflecting a lower voter turnout attributed to polling timing and candidate quality.
