In recent weeks, the Red Cross Hospital in Rafah has activated its mass casualty procedures multiple times, primarily treating patients injured while attempting to access aid distribution sites, resulting in at least 125 deaths and over 700 injuries. The ICRC emphasizes the need for immediate action to safeguard healthcare infrastructure, as the intensifying conflict further jeopardizes the already limited medical resources available in the enclave.
