Gauteng Social Development provides update on NPO payments

The Gauteng Department of Social Development provided an update on SLAs and payments, with 1,774 business plans received, 1,436 SLAs generated, and 1,039 returned signed. They converted 953 SLAs into contracts for payment, processing 822 for payment as of October 9. MEC Faith Mazibuko emphasized the department’s commitment to ensuring services for the vulnerable, aiming to pay all compliant NPOs by the end of October 2024.
